You and your family and guests will have a wonderful, memorable stay in this elegant, huge (6000 sq. ft.)Harlem mansion NYC. Every conceivable amenity available including HD flat screen TV, elevator, garden (with dining and lounging furniture, gas grill), gorgeous rooms, full, well equipped designer kitchen (GE Monogram appliances, farmhouse sink, quartz counters, copper ceilings), museum-quality furniture and contemporary artwork, fully air-conditioned and heated. Each of 5 bedrooms has its own elegant private bath with sink, toilet and shower and/or soaking tub. Billiards room, media room with flat screen and full laundry room. 

The luxurious home is a landmarked brownstone located in the fashionable Mount Morris Park district.  It  dates from the late 1880's and was gut-renovated to Architectural Digest standards. The landmarked Mt. Morris Park section of trendy Harlem, has everything you need at your fingertips.  The new Wholes Foods grocery is two blocks away. It is walking distance from dozens of restaurants and music venues. The mansion is at the corner of Mount Morris Park West ( 5th Avenue) and West 123rd Street. It is two blocks from the  2, 3 express trains which is 15-18 minutes from Times Square and 25 minutes from 9/11 memorial.  The 5th Avenue bus line will take you right to Museum Mile in 10 minutes.  There is easy ability to hail a cab anytime of the day or night. Safe, free on-street parking and parking garages nearby.. The neighborhood is safe and family oriented.  Harlem boasts numerous beautiful brownstones, churches, parks and restaurants. Renters have access to the entire home (5 floors WITH ELEVATOR , handicap accessible, LR, DR, kitchen, billiards, media and laundry rooms, garden, 5 bedrooms, 6 full and 2 half-baths, sleeping up to 12 guests). Rentals are for the entire home and are for a minimum of 3 nights at $1200.00 per night.  There is a one time cleaning fee of 300$ and a 5.9% occupancy tax.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VISITORS: Our property is a single family home. As such it is NOT subject to the New York City law that prohibits the short-term rental of housing units. That law only applies to buildings, such as every apartment building in NYC, containing 3 or more 'dwelling units' (i.e., separate apartments). Our home is not covered by this law because it is a single family unit, and therefore our rentals are completely legal. You may rest  assured that renting from us will not be in violation of any laws and you are at no risk of being unable to occupy the premises because the authorities have taken legal action against the property owner.

Stay in jazz age elegance at our spacious brownstone Mansion. The elegant building provides large, spacious rooms that provide an elegant and comfortable relaxed setting for your New York City visit. Renovated to Architectural Digest standards, it is decorated in the art deco style, with a well-equipped chef's kitchen and a private garden. The townhouse is handicap accessible and a short walk to the subway. Located in the historic Mount Morris Historic District in Central Harlem. The brownstone was built in the 1890’s.   It is conveniently located  to all shopping including Whole Foods, restaurants, including Red Rooster and near the 2/3 express trains and a short walk to Central Park.



Jazz Mansion Dining Room

This is the dining room on the main floor. The dining table is incredible! It custom made by artisan David Ebner and took three years to make. It is crafted of mahogany and tempered brass. It can seat from 8-18! There is a Bose blue tooth speaker, a CD player with available jazz CDS. Great rotating art work, adjustable lighting, cloth napkins for the whole crowd and flatware too.

Bedroom 1

This is a large comfortable bedroom on the top floor at the back of building. It overlooks the garden and neighboring church steeple. There is a full size bed and a full size futon. There are  comfortable chairs for chatting or reading.

Bedroom 2

This is a beautiful sunny bedroom at the front of the house. There is a queen size bed, 2 comfy club chairs and a large closet with hangers and luggage racks.

Bedroom 3

This is the master bedroom. It has a beautiful queen size custom made bed with a temperpedic mattress, large closets, a full dresser and comfortable chairs in a sunny spot for reading

Bedroom 4

This is lovely sunny bedroom overlooks the .street, has great closets, a full size bed and small study desk. 

Bedroom 5

This bedroom is located on the garden floor at the back of the building with  a queen six bed with comfortable mattress and additional futon, this room is great if you have to share.

No tour of Harlem Eateries is complete without a stop at SYLVIA’S and RED ROOSTER. 

Sylvia’s is THE place to go for a hearty breakfast to start your day.  Breakfast all day and open 24 hours. This is the soul food  stop for every politician and celebrity that visits Harlem.  Keep your eyes open!  You never know who you might see! 

Red Rooster’s bar is. Action packed. Interesting cocktail menu and see and be seen bar; noisy and $$$ but the people watching is great!

 Simple breakfast lunch place with some dinner specials. Sunny and inviting but no internet! 


Great happy hour with cheese and charcuterie platters around the big bar in the front?  Roses, bubblies and Muscadets rule the day!

Dinner in the rear dining room is a delicious yet delicate selection of seafoods, risotto and more.
